Coco & Carlos Celebrate with Roland-Garros Ball Kids

As if being a ball kid for the Roland-Garros tournament isn’t cool enough, they got to celebrate with singles champions Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz after historic wins. Coco Gauff, the first American women’s singles champion since 2015, encouraged the kids to hold up her trophy and celebrate their hard work as well. Carlos Alcaraz, after playing for a whopping five hours and twenty-nine minutes in the finals, celebrated his win with some dancing, cheering, and photographs with the ball kids. With Roland-Garros wins at 21 and 22, respectively, Coco and Carlos are already showing their dedication to inspiring the next generation for years to come.

Celebrities in the Stands

Celebrity sightings and references were in full swing at the 2025 French Open. From Coco Gauff mentioning a Tyler the Creator song (St. Chroma) in her acceptance speech to Lily Collins and Spike Lee seen in the audience, there were plenty of Sports-ish moments happening off the clay. Actor Eddie Redmayne, French dancer Guilliarme Diop, singer Pharrell Williams, actress Natalie Portman, rugby star Antoine Dupont, former NBA player Tony Parker, and soccer player Romeo Beckham were few of many star-studded guests at the Roland-Garros tournament. Director Spike Lee is an enthusiastic and dedicated supporter of many American athletes, and many are hoping that Coco Gauff’s win eased his pain from a recent New York Knicks loss in the NBA conference finals.

One especially exciting moment happened for Netflix’s Emily in Paris fans - Lily Collins and Paul Forman were watching in the stands, just as their characters did in Season 4. Life imitates art!

2nd Longest Grand Slam Final Match in History

The men’s singles finals on June 8th between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Skinner became the second-longest Grand Slam Finals game in history. At 5 hours and 29 minutes, this match was only 24 minutes away from breaking the record for the longest game held by the 2012 Australian Open match between rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal at 5 hours and 53 minutes.

Coco’s Victory Manifestations

Seeing Coco Gauff on the other side of her doubt with a trophy after a devastating French Open loss back in 2022 was inspirational, and so was her sharing a piece of paper she’d written on inspired by Olympic track star Gabby Thomas repeating one phrase over and over: I will win French Open 2025. Gauff also shared a screenshot of an iPhone note from 2021, with a message about having a dream that she’d win a French Open someday. You can call it manifestation, working towards your goals, or both. Either way, Gauff has accomplished her dream and got to go home a champion!

Stunning Sponsored Kits

The sponsored kits worn by athletes competing at the 2025 French Open were top-tier - from Nike to New Balance to Lululemon, every athlete looked amazing while representing their brand.
