As the iconic Wimbledon tournament comes to a close, we figured we’d give you a sports-ish recap of the tournament, which took place from June 30th to July 13th in England. We’ve added a little bit of everything that happened at Wimbledon, whether you’re a fan of the iconic strawberries, fiery serves, or just plain old sweet victory.
Sinner and Swiatek Win Singles
Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner were the winners of the men’s and women’s Wimbledon finals after two weeks of tough battles and insane upsets.
Iga Swiatek, a 2018 Girls’ Wimbledon champion, has made history as Poland’s first-ever women’s singles Wimbledon champion after beating American Amanda Anisimova on Saturday, July 12th. Swiatek now holds six Gram Slam titles at the age of 24.
After their intense, five-hour matchup at the 2025 French Open, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz faced off again in the Wimbledon finals on Sunday, July 13th. This final was yet another tense and exciting matchup of these familiar rivals, this time with Sinner taking the trophy and his first-ever Wimbledon victory.
Fashion Forward

Superstars, royalty, and world-class athletes all made an appearance at Wimbledon and brought their unique styles to the stands with them. From Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate’s classical royal looks to USWNT Olympian Trinity Rodman’s vibrant blue two-piece, fashion in the crowd was just as good as fashion on the court.
All of the Wimbledon competitors also gave their all in both their game and their outfits, with each putting a unique twist on their classic white sets to show off their sponsors while fitting their personal styles.
Wheelchair Wimbledon Winners
Tokito Oda and Ziying Wang won the Men’s and Women’s Wheelchair singles championships at Wimbledon.
At just 19 years old, Japan’s Tokito Oda is now a two-time Wimbledon champion, after his first win in 2023 at just 17. Talk about a young superstar!
Ziying Wang of China won the women’s Wheelchair championship for the first time, solidifying herself as a Wimbledon champion on July 12th. The singles championship wasn’t Wang’s only win, though - she also won the doubles championship with partner Xiauhui Ling on July 13th. Imagine winning Wimbledon, and then waking up and doing it all over again? Wang is our new superwoman.
