Game On, Beyhive: Athletes Spotted at The “Cowboy Carter” Tour

The final curtain recently closed on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, making history by becoming the highest-grossing country tour ever. If you didn’t get the chance to attend, it’s okay to admit that you’re experiencing FOMO. Of course, the stars showed out to support the musician, but let’s take a look at some of our favorite athletes who traded their sneakers for cowboy boots.

Coco Gauff

During the US Open in 2023, Coco Gauff famously said that she was “thinking about the Renaissance Tour during [her] match.” But after attending the “Cowboy Carter” show in Atlanta, we're pretty sure that night now holds the top spot. Not only did she get to hang out with Tina Knowles, but Beyoncé even waved at her during the performance! On top of that, her monochromatic look was an absolute serve (see what we did there). In addition to all of her accolades on the tennis court, this has got to be a core memory for her!

New York Liberty Stars

New York Liberty players Isabelle Harrison, Marine Johannés, and Jaylyn Sherrod were living their best lives at MetLife Stadium back in May. Of course, they didn't come to play in their outfits, rocking the cowboy hats and leather jackets. Jaylyn admitted she wasn’t familiar with much of the album, but they all had a great time. We can’t forget “Queen B” herself, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, when talking about her favorite artist. While she’s currently recovering from meniscus surgery and out for the 2025 WNBA season, we know she would’ve been living her best life with her teammates!

Stefon Diggs

Beyoncé is not just for the ladies! Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs went all out for the “Cowboy Carter” show in Washington, D.C., and his look did not disappoint! Making the night even more special, he attended the concert with his mother, which definitely made it an unforgettable experience.

Serena Williams

When one GOAT attends another GOAT's concert, you know it's a moment! Serena Williams made the last-minute decision to attend the show in Paris, and she made sure that her Instagram followers knew what the vibe was. Fun fact: Serena made an appearance in the “Sorry” music video back in 2016, a song off of Beyoncé's album, Lemonade. If that isn’t the definition of iconic, we don’t know what is.

And yes, her husband and everyone’s favorite “HAB”, Alexis Ohanian, was also at the show, perfectly summing up the night in this hilarious tweet!

Any Beyoncé tour wouldn’t be complete without a Jordan Chiles appearance. The Olympic Medalist has always been vocal about the impact the artist has had on her, and we all saw her iconic floor routine, including hits like “My House” and “End of Time.” Beyoncé even sent her a signed vinyl ahead of last year’s Paris Olympics. She was at the show with Meret Manon, an artist from the girl group Katseye, and they brought all the energy!

As a woman redefining genre, Beyoncé continues to push boundaries and challenge not only herself, but others with every project she releases. With rumors of a rock album potentially closing out this three-act trilogy, we might just see even more familiar faces packed into the stands!
