The Sweetest Moments So Far from the NFL’s 2025 Training Camp
The National Football League’s Training Camp is officially in full swing, and the dedicated social teams of each NFL organization have kept us fed with amazing, behind-the-scenes content about what their players and staff have been up to for these past few weeks. Since we can’t all be at every single training camp across the country, the inside looks on social media have kept us perfectly up to date with the antics of several different NFL teams. Here are some of the sweetest moments they’ve captured so far at 2025 Training Camp.
Fans Meeting Their Idols
NFL Training Camp days are much more intimate settings than regular-season stadium games, and fans don’t need field-side tickets to get a chance to meet their football idols. From helmets to jerseys to replica balls, fans from all over the country are getting chances to have their favorite and newest players sign some merch and say Hey.
A “Happy Gilmore” Inspired Detour
The New York Giants took a detour from training camp to practice golfing with hockey sticks, inspired by the recent release of Happy Gilmore 2. Ty Summers was the first to make the Happy Gilmore shot, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. took on the third sport of gymnastics (after football and golf, of course) after making his shot.
So, So Many “Mini-Mic” Opportunities
The rise in popularity of the mini-microphone attached to cell phones has made waves in the sports media world - it’s so perfect for casual interviews, asking players silly questions on their way back to the locker room, and grabbing the perfect sound with no distractions for plenty of TikToks and Reels. The mini-mics have been out in full force for NFL training camp, whether the Philadelphia Eagles’ Landon Dickerson approves or not. Sorry, Landon. We can’t help that you guys are all so funny!
The LA Chargers Know What’s Up
The Los Angeles Chargers Head Coach, Jim Harbaugh, was spotted rocking Togethxr’s “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” shirt, which has become a wardrobe staple of women’s sports fans all over the world after partnering with the Olympics, NCAA March Madness, and WNBA to create unique shirt colorways for games and leagues with the same message. To see Harbaugh sporting this shirt in such a high-visibility atmosphere of men’s sports and showing love to women’s sports was super sweet to see. NFL x Togethxr colorways coming when?
Rooks Getting Their Chance to Shine
It’s what we’ve all been waiting for - getting the chance to see the rookies picked in the 2025 NFL Draft shine alongside their new teammates. From rookies to trades to vets, training camp gives fans a chance to see the new additions to their team play alongside team staples and get an idea of how the upcoming season could go.
An Inside Look at Cheerleading Training Camp
After the popularity of “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,” the Minnesota Vikings have followed in the Cowboys’ footsteps of showing an inside look at the process of auditioning to be a Vikings cheerleader, including looks into the final steps of auditioning before training camp. This inside look at rookie candidates explaining their experience so far in the process has been a great way to introduce the newer cheerleaders to the Vikings audience, and give a “behind-the-scenes” look into how dedicated the cheerleaders are to their auditions and sport.
The Sweetest Dad Moments
It must be the coolest “bring-your-kid-to-work-day” ever when you’ve got a dad that plays for the NFL. Training Camp has been full of precious dad moments, from Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence’s first training camp with his child watching to Deion Sanders watching his son Shilo play at his first Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp. Two San Francisco 49ers players welcomed daughters this July, so Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy are going through their first training camps as fathers - hopefully, Colette and Millie will get a chance to attend their first training camps next year to watch their dads play.
